Kasseri Cheese Proikas 250g

KASERI PROIKAS is a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) cheese . It has been produced at the PROIKAS cheese factory in Soho, Thessaloniki, for over a century, with the same traditional recipe, exclusively from selected Greek sheep and goat milk of indigenous breeds of free-range goats and sheep of the region, without additives and preservatives. The rich characteristic taste of caseri and its unique aftertaste are due to its many months of maturation and low humidity.

KASERI PROIKAS (P.O.P.) is the most established authentic Kasseri in the Greek market with a significant presence in the international market and is multi-awarded with international distinctions:

It is consumed as a table, after it has been left out of the refrigerator for half an hour to bring out all its aromas, accompanied by a glass of wine, as a snack with a Thessaloniki bun, in sandwiches and toast. It can also be made into saganaki with accompanying tomato jam, used as a filling in spring rolls and pies as well as an ingredient in soufflés, au gratins and pastitsio.
