Cook the  Spinach rice like fresh vegetables, without thawing it.

Tender spinach leaves, rice, onion and dill, make up an easy, simple, light and very enjoyable dish, with the safety and quality of Barba Stathis. Ideal for vegetarians and those following a balanced diet. Enjoy it as a base for creating delicious dishes such as Spinach Rice with celery root and herbs, with cuttlefish or with chickpeas.

Cook the Spinach rice like fresh vegetables, without thawing it.

You will only need (for 4 people) : 1 package of Barba Stathis Spinach Rice 1,000g, 2/3 of a cup of olive oil, the juice of a lemon, 1 ½ cups of water, salt, pepper

In the saucepan : Saute the contents of the Barba Stathis Spinach Rice package with half the amount of olive oil on a low heat for 5-7 minutes. Increase the intensity of the stove, add salt, pepper, lemon juice, the remaining olive oil together with 1 ½ cups of water and mix. As soon as they start to boil, cover the pot, reduce the heat to half and simmer for about 15 minutes. Immediately after, open the lid of the pot and let the spinach and rice simmer for another 5 minutes.
